I love Gingerbread Day! We usually go on a hunt for the Gingerbread Man, but we just didn't have time this year! They still had fun listening to the story and making their houses. There's always next year! :)

Nativity book and Christmas program
Merry Christmas! This is my new favorite book that we make in my class! This is also came from Michelle at Musings of Me. Even if I decide not to do the Holiday Fun book again, this is a MUST! Each day I read No Room In the Inn to go along with the book. It is a level 2 reader that they probably could have handled listening to the whole story at once, but I liked that it broke down and we were able to discuss each part.
I think we had the best Christmas program ever this year! Wish I could have it on video to put on here! I still have a few Christmas pictures to put up, but they will have to wait. Off to cook, clean and spend a fabulous day with my family!
The last page is simple, but I love it! Merry Christmas from |

Holiday Fun
This is one of the books that we made for Christmas. I'm a little torn because I usually do a lot of ornaments and more projects, but this year I decided to put them all in book form. The book is absolutely precious, but I just can't decide which I like better. I bought this book as a bundle from Michele at Musings of Me and it was worth every penny! There were a few things that I slightly changed from what she did and we also read a book every day to go with the page. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the books that we read, but I'll at least post the title for them. There's always next year!
We read Mr.Willoughby's Christmas Tree book to go along with our Christmas tree pages. We glue buttons on the shape tree cover page, but I forgot to take a picture after we glued the buttons. |
The tree was their handprint and the ornaments were their fingerprints. |
The elves turned out so cute! They had so much fun doing the elf because they all have one of their own! We read the Happy Elf by Harry Conick Jr. |
We traced their foot for the body of the reindeer and their hands for the antlers. We read The Reindeer Brigade. This one was a new one for me this year. Cute book! |
Santa's eyes fell off! Haha! This one they cut out the pieces, glued on, and then glued cotton balls for the beard and hat. We read Twas the Night Before Christmas to go along with our Santa pages. |
We broke the glitter out again! We did the cookie page the same day as the wreath, so Llama, Llama also went along with this page. |
I did not have a book to go along with the carolers, but we did sing Christmas carols and discussed what a carol is! |

Christmas Centers (Sort of!)
I didn't take pictures of all our centers that we did for December because I was busy doing other things! :) I kept them the same the whole month because we really didn't have much center time due to our play practice. I also kept them very simple and more play than learning. Some times you just have to go with it! :)
